What was actually wrong.
Seraphiel Glow needed to sell under its own name rather than as a line item on someone else’s marketplace. That meant a storefront where each product has a page worth sharing, and a buying flow that holds together on a phone as well as it does on a desktop — because most of the traffic arrives from a link someone sent a friend.
How we approached it.
We built the catalogue, the cart and the checkout as one connected system rather than three that hand off to each other. Every product gets a readable URL and its own title and preview card, so a shared link looks like the brand rather than like a database row — the detail that decides whether a product link is worth sending at all.

What we built, and why.
A page for every product
Products live in the database as structured records, each with a clean human-readable address rather than an ID in the URL. Imagery is hosted and optimised externally, so a catalogue full of high-resolution product photography still loads quickly. Every product page carries its own title and social preview card, which is what makes a shared link look deliberate.
The brand does the selling
Skincare is bought on trust as much as on ingredients, so the storefront gives the brand room to say what it is before it asks for the sale. The heritage and range pages carry the same typography and restraint as the product pages, so browsing and buying feel like one place rather than a shop bolted onto a brochure.

Cart, checkout and accounts
Customer accounts are secured with hashed passwords and managed sessions, and the order flow completes itself — the customer gets a confirmation and the team gets a notification as each order lands, without anyone watching an inbox. The whole flow was built mobile-first, since that is where a shared product link gets opened.

Making of
The foundation is the same one behind our Pawtopia build — Next.js App Router and React for the frontend, Prisma over MongoDB for the data, and a Radix and Tailwind component layer — adapted here for a single brand selling its own products rather than a platform coordinating several services. Reusing a foundation we already knew meant the time went into the storefront itself rather than into decisions we had already made once.
